He was born and educated in Japan but has been living and working abroad nearly 35 years. He lived in Milan and Paris, now lives in New York. Currently, he is a contributing artist to the Getty Images.
* He was interested in paintings since he was a boy. So after high school he studied fine art/painting in the art school in Tokyo. He got a big influence from the impressionist painters, especially of Matisse and was also inspiered by poets such as Arthur Rimbaud, Guillame Apollinaire and Paul Verlane.
Photography was a hobby when he was in high school but later he took it seriously for a profession so he was back to school in second time in a photography school and studied commercial photography,few years after finishing the artschool. He was already 28 years old when his career took off as a freelance photographer.
** He started to photograph musicians for the jacket covers,posters & etc.for Sony label and other recording companies. Then he photographed for Japan's top class advertising agencies and fashion magazines such as Dentsu Agency, Magazine House and world class companies such as Panasonic, Fuji Film, Nissan Car Company & etc. He received an advertising photography award and his personal art works had been appeared in the photo magazines.
*** He loves French & Italian fashions and their creative & artistic fashion photos in the magazines. He adores stylish beautiful women and models as they are the Muse to him after all. He also loves listenig to classical musics - Hayden,Hendel,Bach,Mahler&etc. and gets his creative inspirations from musics and from some poetries.

His career as a painter sidelined but he kept working on it. In 1991 he enrolled in a class in Parsons Art shool in New York then resumed to work on painting and other fine art project in full time and exhibited some of the work in the galleries in the East Village and Soho.
